I can still remenber my mixed emotions back in December 2016 when I mounted the Prelude in Robinsons Place Bacolod. It was a challenge for me until I mounted the first ever in April 2017 in Robinsons Place Bacolod also.
Together with the grand launch of the Association of Negros Designers (AND), Negros Fashion Fest came to reality at its finest.
Today is the third year of fashion extacaganza showcasing designers all over Negros and is so far the biggest and the brightest fashion event in this side of the country.
This year, we found a new home in Ayala Malls Capitol Central showcasing 14 collections in ten-piece each including a Department Store brands and an Iloilo Designer.
To name them were the members of the AND JohnC Rondain, Princy Martir (Handpainted Bags Designer), AND Mentor Niyca Nava, Rennie Braza from Sagay City, Jofel Cegayle from Escalante City, Jes Dakila, Edwin Benitez, Brylie Hiponia, Lovely Vineyard (Kids Apparel), Carmeli Bantug (AND President), Leonard Geraldes, Tia Lacson of Luxesaint, Metro Department Store brands and internationally recognized fashion deaigner Jet Salcedo of Iloilo.
The 3-day event was a blast showcasing their latest collections.
This year, we had so much to offer as we had the longest ramp so far in the history of fashion shows in this side of the country.
Also, on the final day, a tradition of showcasing Bacolod & Negros Pesonalities and past & present Beauty Queens paraded together with their Hair & Makeup artists from the Makeup Artists Guild of Negros (MAG) and the AND.
